Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that since the husband of petitioner No.1 i.e. Rakesh (respondent No.4) is an alcoholic and was not taking care of petitioner No.1 and also used to give merciless beatings to her, and she was in fact ousted from her matrimonial home, the petitioner No.1 was constrained to take shelter with petitioner No.2. However respondent No.4 is now threatening to cause harm to both the petitioners on account of said live-in relationship of the petitioners. 2.

It has further been submitted that a representation (Annexure P-3) was submitted by the petitioners to Superintendent of Police Sonipat but no action has been taken thereupon.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioners and while refraining from making any expression as regards veracity of the averments made in the petition, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent GAURAV SOROT 2020.02.11 14:10 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

(2) CRWP-1355-2020 No.2-Superintendent of Police, Patiala to look into the matter and to dispose of representation (Annexure P-3) expeditiously in accordance with law.

A copy of this order along with copy of representation (Annexure P-3) be sent to respondent No.2-Superintendent of Police, Sonipat so as to enable him to do the needful expeditiously.
