(ORAL) This is an appeal that has been filed seeking to challenge impugned judgment of conviction dated 14.07.2017 and order of sentence dated 18.07.2017 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Karnal wherein the appellant had been convicted for an offence under Sections 363, 366, 506 IPC and Section 4 of POCSO Act, 2012 to undergo sentence of 10 years. Reply by way of affidavit of Sher Singh, Superintendent of Prison, District Prison, Karnal has been filed, which would reflect that during the pendency of appeal, Vir Bhan @ Rishi son of Man Singh, aged 36 years has since died on 12.11.2018.
