The instant Writ Petition has been filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing Memo No.1261, dated 19.08.1997 (Annexure P-19). 1.1 A further prayer has been made seeking issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing respondents No.1 to 3 not to demolish any part of the Hotel Building of the petitioners and other building occupied by Oriental Bank as their lessee.

As per order dated 15.01.2020, Mr. Bhoop Singh, learned counsel for the petitioners is stated to have expired, accordingly, the registry was directed to issue notice to the petitioners. CWP-13321-1997 (O&M) -2- 2.1 As per the office report dated, 11.02.2020, notice issued to petitioner No.1 received back unserved for want of correct address and service qua petitioners No.2 to 5 is complete. 3.

A perusal of the order sheets reveal that there has been no representation on behalf of the petitioners since 15.11.2023 onwards. 4.

It appears that the petitioners are no more interested in pursuing the present petition.

In view of the above, the instant petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
