MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (Oral) The present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed for a direction to respondents No.1and 2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner from respondents No. 3 to 5.

Learned counsel for the petitioner at the outset submits that a direction be issued to the police authorities for taking a decision on the complaint/representation dated 01.02.2020 (Annexure P3) submitted by the petitioner.

Keeping in view the limited prayer addressed by the petitioner, facts and circumstances of the case but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, it is considered appropriate to dispose of this petition, with a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Khanna, District Ludhiana (respondent No.2) to look into the complaint/representation dated 01.02.2020 (Annexure P3) and take appropriate action as may be required.
