There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner(s), despite pass over.

Present writ petition is for quashing of order dated 15.10.1998 (Annexure P4) vide which resignation already accepted has been withdrawn and petitioner sought the release of pensionary benefits along with interest at the rate of 18% with effect from the date the petitioner was relieved from his duties.

Petitioner has not rendered the qualifying service of 20 years and the similar controversy has been set at rest by the Hon'ble Apex Court in Union of India v. Rakesh Kumar and Others Appeal (Civil) No. 6166 of 1999, decided on 30.03.2001).

In view of above, present writ petition is without any merit and the same stands dismissed.
