Prayer in this petition is for issuance of directions to official respondents No.2 and 3 to conduct a fair investigation in FIR No.26 dated 24.05.2018, registered at Police Station Mullanpur Garibdass, District SAS Nagar and to add relevant Sections in the said FIR and to arrest respondents No.6 to 11.

Status report by way of an affidavit dated 11.02.2023 of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Kharar-II, District SAS Nagar (Mohali), filed on behalf of the respondent-State, in the Registry, is taken on record.

At the outset, learned State counsel, on the instructions from the concerned Investigating Officer, submits that in the present case, a cancellation report has already been filed before the Court concerned on 07.09.2022 and the same has also been accepted on 04.01.2023.
