(ORAL) Petition was filed in the year 1997, inter alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari quashing order dated 01.09.1997 (Annexure P-3) whereby the post of Cinema Operator has been abolished and the petitioner has been reverted to his original post of Peon in the grade of Rs.750-940, without affording any opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. Further, prayer has been made to quash order dated 03.09.1997 (Annexure P-4) passed by respondent No.2 directing the petitioner to work with Joint Director (Schools) with immediate effect from 03.09.1997. 2.

Petition was admitted on 09.08.2001.

Court, either it has been rendered infructuous or even otherwise the petitioner seems to have lost interest in pursuing the same. 4.
