[1] This petition was filed for issuance of directions to the official respondents for protection of life and liberty of the petitioners from private respondents arrayed in the petition. [2] As per the pleadings, the petitioners had performed marriage against the wishes of their parents and there was a threat perception.

[3] On 18th February, 2021, following order was passed:- "Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the petitioners are receiving threats from respondent Nos.4 to 6 as they have entered into marriage on 16.02.2021 against their wishes. Notice of motion to respondent Nos.1 to 3 only, at this stage.

Mr. Sukhdeep Parmar, DAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of official respondents. Counsel for the petitioners undertakes to forward the complete copy of the petition to the office of Advocate General Haryana through e-mail, during the course of the day.

At this stage, Mr. Mohan Singh Rana, Advocate appears on behalf of respondent No.6." [4] Mr. Deepak Bhardwaj, Deputy Advocate General, Haryana has filed short reply by way of affidavit of Mr. Rajender Kumar, HPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Jagadhri (Yamuna Nagar), same is taken on record. Paragraph No. 4 of the reply is reproduced as under:- "4.

That in compliance of directions issued by this Hon'ble Court, SI Baldev Raj went to the address of the petitioners. Both petitioners found present at the said address and they got recorded their statement. The petitioners stated that they have solemnized love marriage on 16-02-2021 at Prachin Pashpati Shiv Nath Mandir, Panchkula and filed petition for protection before the Hon'ble High Court. Now they have no need of any protection, because their family members are happy with their marriage. The true translated copies of statements of petitioners are enclosed herewith as Annexure R-1 and R-2. On the same day, SI Baldev Raj went to the address of respondents No.4 to 6. The private respondents got recorded their statements and stated that they have no objection with the marriage of petitioners. The true translated copy of statements of respondent nos. 4 to 6 are enclosed herewith as Annexure R-3 and R-4."

[5] None has put in appearance for the petitioners. [6] In view of affidavit filed by the State, no further directions are called for.

[7] The petition is disposed of as infructuous.
