Through the instant writ petition, the petitioner seeks quashing of the order dated 11.12.2019 (Annexure P-5), whereby the application filed by the respondent No.2 was allowed by the Industrial Tribunal, Patiala.

On the previous date of hearing, i.e. 02.02.2026, learned counsel appearing for the respondent No.2 submitted that the dispute between the parties stood amicably settled and, therefore, nothing survived for adjudication in the instant writ petition. However, in the absence of any representation on behalf of the petitioner on that date, the matter was adjourned to today and the Registry was directed to communicate the order dated 02.02.2026 to learned counsel for the petitioner, thereby enabling him to have appropriate instructions regarding DEVINDER YADAV 2026.02.10 09:42 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

As per the office report, the order (supra) was duly communicated to the learned counsel for the petitioner through e-mail. Despite the same, there is again no appearance on behalf of the petitioner today. It thus appears that either the matter has been settled between the parties or the petitioner is no longer interested in pursuing the writ petition.

Consequently, the instant writ petition is dismissed for want of prosecution.
