(ORAL) As per reply by way of affidavit of Sandeep Hans, IAS, Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer, Patiala, on behalf of respondents No.1 to 5 dated 07.03.2022 physical verification of stock of liquor was done by the committee from 02.03.2022 to 04.03.2022 at godown of L-1A Licensee (Year 2015-16). After conducting the physical verification by the committee members, it was found that 12261.84 cases/boxes of liquor of different brands were found out of a total stock of 12279.2 cases and there was a difference of stock of -17.36 cases of liquor. The details of empty cases, breakage has been given as per Annexure R-2/T. -2CWP-3117 of 2022 all the bottles in 12261.84 cases/boxes of liquor were full and none of them was empty.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that he does not want to press this petition at this stage. However, keeping in view the report, he wants to take appropriate alternate steps in accordance with law if so advised.
