Mr. Gautam Sehgal, Advocate, for the petitioner. Through Video Conferencing JASGURPREET SINGH PURI , J. (Oral) The petitioner had earlier filed Civil Writ Petition bearing No.34283 of 2019, which was disposed of on 05.08.2020, in which it was directed that the withheld retiral benefits of petitioner shall be released to him as expeditiously as possible and it was made clear that in case retiral benefits are not released to the petitioner within two months then he shall be entitled to the benefit of penal interest @ 18% per annum on the amount payable to him.

On being confronted as to how a second petition with regard to claim of interest is maintainable, the learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present petition in order to enable him to file appropriate application in the aforesaid writ petition in accordance with law. Disposed of accordingly.
