No. 0240 dated 17.11.2019 for offence under Sections 451,323,506,149 Cr.P.C., registered at Police Station City Jagraon, District Ludhiana Rural has been filed by petitioner Karan Chhabra, an accused in the said case. The allegations in the F.I.R. are denied and it is contended that on the date of alleged occurrence the petitioner was away to Delhi, which fact is corroborated from the CCTV footage of the Toll Plazas and other evidence available in that regard. The matter is still at the stage of investigation.

The petition is disposed of relegating the petitioner to the remedy of raising all these pleas before the investigating officer, who shall consider the same in accordance with law while preparing final report in the matter.
