The grievance of the petitioner in the writ petition was that the petitioner had retired on 30.04.2019 and the retiral benefits were released after a delay of two years and thus, he was entitled to interest. As regards the same, representation dated 01.04.2025 was submitted. While disposing of the writ petition (ibid), a direction was given to the respondents to decide the said representation within a period of six months. 3.

Learned State counsel submits that after examination of the matter, interest amounting to Rs.1,62,673/- stands credited into the account of the petitioner on account of interest on the delayed payment.
