Petitioner is seeking initiation of contempt proceedings against respondents for violation of order dated 06.04.2017 passed in CWP-182912016, which reads as follows:- "The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction for restoration of his land, which was taken under the garb of acquisition and transferred to the private persons. The stand of the respondents is that the land owned by the petitioner was finally not acquired.
In view of the stand taken by learned counsel for the respondents, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition." It is evident from the order that it was presented at the time of disposal of aforesaid writ petition that land of the petitioner was finally not acquired. Feeling satisfied, the petitioner withdrew the writ petition. COCP No. 553 of 2020 -2given by them, for the violation of which proceedings against them can be initiated at this stage.
In view of above, I find no reason to initiate any proceedings against the respondents.
