MEHTA, J.(Oral) By filing the instant revision-petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner-husband has sought the indulgence of this Court for the issuance of direction to learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Hisar, to decide the Divorce Petition bearing No.DMC/1253 of 2022 titled as 'Amit Kumar Versus Navneet Rani', preferably within a period of six months, while averring that the said Petition is still pending at the stage of filing of Reply on behalf of the respondent-wife. 2.

I have heard learned counsel for the revisionist-petitioner in the present revision-petition, at the preliminary stage and have also gone through the file carefully.

Keeping in view the fact that the afore-referred Divorce Petition had been filed in the year 2022 and the respondent has not even YAG DUTT 2024.02.08 18:34 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CR No.752 of 2024 -2- 2024:PHHC:017450 filed her Reply/Written-Statement therein and thus, the trial is yet to commence in the same and keeping in view the provisions contained in Section 21-B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 and without commenting or expressing any opinion on the merits of the above-mentioned Divorce Petition, the revision-petition in hand is, hereby, disposed of with a direction to the concerned Family Court to expedite the proceedings in the said Divorce Petition and to decide the same, in accordance with law, as early as possible.
