Learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that impugning the same award a connected appeal being FAO-6766-2018 was filed by the New India Assurance Company Ltd., which appeal was allowed vide order dated 18.09.2023 and the amount of compensation awarded to the claimants was reduced to Rs.8,64,000/-. Learned counsel for the parties further state that present appeal would be covered by the order dated 18.09.2023 passed in FAO-6766-2018.

In view of the above, the present appeal is disposed off in terms of the order dated 18.09.2023 passed in FAO-6766-2018. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
