The petitioner has approached this Court seeking grant of anticipatory bail in case registered against him vide FIR No. 124, dated 18.6.2018, Police Station Division No.6, District Jalandhar, under Sections 379-B, 34, 411 IPC.

Vide order dated 10.2.2020, this Court while issuing notice of motion had directed the petitioner to appear before the trial Court within a week and the trial Court was directed to release him on interim bail. - 2 - CRM-M-5749-2020 (O&M) within a period of one week and consequently the following order came to be passed on 2.7.2021:

"Learned counsel for the petitioner requests for an adjournment so as to enable the petitioner to move an appropriate application seeking extention of time for furnishing bail bonds before the trial Court. In view of the aforesaid request, the matter is adjourned to 08.07.2021."

Thereafter, vide order dated 8.7.2021, the time afforded to the petitioner to furnish bail bonds was extended by this Court upto 20.7.2021.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has informed that he has no instructions from the petitioner as to whether he has surrendered or not. On a query made by this Court it has been informed that the petitioner is involved in some other cases as well. 5.

In view of the aforestated position particularly bearing in mind the conduct of the petitioner that despite having been granted concession of interim bail more than 1 1⁄2 years back, he has not done the needful, the instant petition deserves to be dismissed on this short score itself.
