(Oral) The petition has been filed under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking regular bail in case FIR No.65 dated 06.06.2024, registered under Sections 307, 447, 427, 107, 148, 149 of IPC, 1860 and Sections 25 and 27 of Arms Act, 1959, at Police Station Zira, District Ferozepur.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner is in custody since 23.10.2024. Investigation of the case is already over as final report/challan has been presented to the Court on 05.01.2025. Further, during trial neither the complainant nor the eyewitnesses have supported the prosecution version.

The facts aforementioned have not been disputed by the learned State counsel.

Keeping in view the totality of facts and circumstances, it is deemed appropriate to grant regular bail to the petitioner. 5.

Accordingly, petition is allowed, and the petitioner is directed to be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Duty Magistrate concerned.
