Prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to quash the order/letter dated 01.03.2024, Annexure P-4, whereby the respondent No.3 has denied the benefits of suspension period from 03.05.2013 to 17.06.2014 in an illegal and arbitrary manner.

Learned counsel would contend that regarding the claim raised in the present petition, legal notice dated 23.08.2024, Annexure P-5, has been submitted, but the same has yet not evoked any response.He thus, at this stage, on instructions from the petitioner, prays that a direction be given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner, to which learned State counselhas no objection to the limited prayer made. 3.
