(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that on account of matrimonial discord between son of petitioners and his wife i.e. respondent No.6, a complaint was made by respondent No.6 against her husband and also against the petitioner which was duly inquired into and the petitioners were found to be innocent but somehow the petitioners are again being called to the police station time and again and being unnecessarily harassed though both of them are Senior Citizens.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioners and while refraining from making any expression as regards the averments made in the petition, the petition is disposed of with a direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar, Mohali (respondent No.4) to ensure that the petitioners are not unnecessarily and repeatedly called to the police station MOHAN SINGH 2021.02.19 17:11 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

- 2 - CRM-M-8070-2021 (O&M) on the basis of any complaint made by respondent No.6. In case, however, the petitioners are required to be associated with any inquiry, then a prior advance written notice be furnished to them before calling them to the police station.
