By way of present writ petition, filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has approached this Court inter alia for issuance of a writ for quashing order dated 04.12.2023, Annexure P-4, whereby, his Arms License has been cancelled by respondent No.2. 2.

At the outset, counsel for the petitioner seeks and is granted permission to withdraw the petition with liberty to take recourse to the remedy of appeal provided under the Arms Act, 1959. 3.
