ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition is for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the instance of respondents No.4 to 8.

In pursuance to the notice of motion, ASI Kashmiri Lal has placed on record the statement of the petitioners as well as the private respondents wherein they have stated that they have resolved the dispute and they do not want any protection.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed of, however, liberty is granted to the petitioners to approach the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ropar, in case, they still feel any threat to their life and liberty.
