CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE HARNARESH SINGH GILL Present:- None for the petitioner.

Mr. YS Rathore, Addl. PP with Mr. Yuvraj Rathore, Advocate for UT Chandigarh.

**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL , J.

(ORAL) Through this petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case bearing FIR No.297 dated 02.12.2019, registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 324, 307, 506 IPC, at Police Station North, Sector-3, Chandigarh.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner today. Same was the situation on 18.08.2021 and 10.11.2021. Vide order dated 14.02.2020 passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court, the petitioner was granted ad interim pre-arrest bail and had been directed to join investigation.

On 10.11.2021, learned State counsel submitted that despite of the interim protection granted to the petitioner, he had not joined the investigation. Today also, learned State counsel, on the instructions from SI Lakhwinder Singh, submits that the petitioner has again not joined the investigation.

CRM-M-5967-2020 (O&M) -2Perusal of the record would show that despite availing the number of opportunities, the petitioner has not bothered to join the investigation and to comply the orders passed by this Court. Keeping in view the above, the petitioner cannot be allowed to avail the interim protection at the costs of violations of the conditions laid therein. Therefore, the petitioner is no longer entitled to the interim protection.

Accordingly, the present petition stands dismissed. 10.12.2021 (HARNARESH SINGH GILL) Aman Jain JUDGE Whether reasoned/speaking?
