Co. ***** CM-17167-CII-2025 This is an application for impleading the legal heirs of appellant - Vishal Verma, who has died.

In view of the averments mentioned in the application, the same is allowed and the persons as mentioned in para 3 of the application are ordered to be impleaded as legal heirs. Amended memo of parties is taken on record.

CM-17166-CII-2025 and CM-17168-CII-2025 Application is allowed and the documents Annexure A-2 to A-4 are taken on record, subject to all justice exceptions. Main case As agreed, as per statements of learned counsel for the appellant, learned counsel and representative of the respondent Insurance Company (separately recorded), a sum of Rs.20,00,000/- (Twenty Lakhs only) over and above the amount awarded by the Tribunal is allowed to the appellant in full and final settlement of the claim in this appeal. As per the statement of learned counsel for the appellant, the enhanced amount be paid to the legal heir of the appellant i.e. Aruna. FAO-1568-2022 (O&M) -2Accordingly, we dispose of this case with a direction to the Insurance Company to deposit a crossed-cheque for Rs.20,00,000/- (Twenty Lakhs only) in the name of legal heir of the appellant i.e. Aruna with the office of the Lok Adalat of the High Court within a period of 2 months, in compliance of this order, failing which, interest @ 9% per annum shall follow on this amount till payment from the date of this order. The concerned Officer of the Lok Adalat Branch/Office shall issue proper receipt after receiving the cheque to learned counsel/representative of the respondent Insurance Company. The appellant(s)' counsel/appellant(s) may collect the cheque from the office of the Lok Adalat. Copy of the order be supplied/sent to the counsel/parties and file be returned to the Hon'ble High Court.
