The petitioner has filed the instant revision petition for issuance of directions to learned Appellate Authority, Chandigarh to prepone the proceedings in Rent Appeal No.RA-1-2021 and dispose of the stay application dated 11.01.2021.

Learned counsel for the respondent has produced order dated 11.07.2022 passed by learned Appellate Authority, Chandigarh whereby the appeal preferred by the petitioner has been dismissed for non-prosecution. He submits that no application for restoration has been preferred by the petitioner before the Appellate Authority, Chandigarh. He further submits that in view of order dated 11.07.2022 the instant revision petition has been rendered infructuous. The copy of order dated 11.07.2022 passed by learned Appellate Authority, Chandigarh, filed by the respondent is taken on record.

Perusal of file shows that on the last two date of hearing i.e. 05.07.2023 and 06.09.2023, none had put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner. Even today no one is present on behalf of the petitioner. It appears that the petitioner is not interested to further pursue the present petition as the same have been infructuous on account of above mentioned fact.
