*** ANIL KSHETARPAL, J (Oral) The hearing of the case was held through video conferencing on account of restricted functioning of the Courts. Through this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner assails the correctness of the order passed by the authorities removing him from the elected office of Councillor, Municipal Committee, Mahendergarh.

The appeal filed by the petitioner has also been dismissed. At the time of hearing, learned counsel representing the respondents has informed the Court that the petitioner has been removed from the office. If that be so, the present petition is rendered infructuous and is dismissed as such. All the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, are also disposed of.
