The petitioner has preferred this writ petition for the issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to issue a return time/adjustment in the time table for the bus permit in order to operate half trip daily on Gurdaspur-Mohali via Mukerian, Dasuya, Hoshiarpur, Garshankar, Balachaur, Ropar and Kharar.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in case, final adjustment is not possible, then at least, the provisional adjustment be ordered to be maintained.

For the claim in question, the petitioner has already served a legal notice dated 11.01.2023 upon the competent authority/respondent No.3.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied in case, her legal notice dated 11.01.2023 is directed to be considered and decided by the respondent No.3 in accordance with law in a time bound manner.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Sanjeev Soni, Addl., A.G., Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the State and submits that the legal notice dated 11.01.2023 served by the petitioner upon the respondent No.3 shall be considered in accordance with law, preferably within a period of one month. [7].

In view of statement made by the learned State counsel, this petition is disposed of by directing the respondent No.3 to consider the legal notice of the petitioner dated 11.01.2023 in accordance with law, preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order.
