(Oral) The petitioners have approached this Court under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution, seeking quashing of the auction notice dated 04.01.2019 (Annexure P-16), passed by respondent No.1, whereby, the property at Killa no. 315/3 min Khata Khatoni No. 1334/1992, total area 15 Marla in the name of Smt. Simarpreet Kaur w/o Sh. Sandeep Singh, situated at Village Chabba, Taran Tarn Road, Amritsar, was put to auction on 08.02.2019 for a reserve price of `24.92 lakhs.

Leaned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the auction, which was scheduled for 08th February, 2019, has failed. Accordingly, it was stated that the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous and may be disposed of as such.
