*** By way of filing the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., petitioner accused Simranjit Kaur, aged about 50 years daughter of Kulwant Singh, resident of 100/14, Greater Kailash Colony, Bathwala Road, Gurdaspur seeks quashing of F.I.R No. 0004 dated 12.1.2021 under Sections 447/511 IPC registered with Police Station Sadar Raikot, District Ludhiana (Rural). The case is admittedly at the stage of investigation. The petitioner accused has got the remedy of raising all the pleas before the investigating officer who may look into the same and then take appropriate action while coming to the conclusion as to whether sufficient material is available to forward the petitioner to face trial in this case or such material is lacking in that case, then he may file the cancellation report. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of relegating the petitioner to the said remedy.
