NAMIT KUMAR J. (Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for quashing the decision of respondent No.2 not to pay interest to the petitioner on the delayed payment of his retiral benefits. Further a writ of mandamus has been sought for directing respondent No.2 to pay interest @ 18% per annum to the petitioner on the delayed payment of retiral benefits.
