(ORAL) By way of present petition filed under Section 482 CrPC, prayer has been made for quashing of FIR No.108 dated 31.08.2020 registered under Sections 307, 452, 380, 506, 323, 148 & 149 of IPC and Sections 25 & 27 of Arms Act, at P.S. Bhindi Saidan, District Amritsar Rural.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for the past more than three years the investigation in the aforementioned FIR has not been concluded.

To this, learned State counsel on instructions from Investigating Officer submits that the final report in the FIR in question shall be submitted before the Illaqa Magistrate within a period of 8 weeks from today.

In view of the aforesaid stand taken by the learned State counsel, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Investigating Agency to conclude the investigation and furnish its final report before the Illaqa Magistrate within a period of 8 weeks from today and in case, no final report is filed in the aforesaid period, the petitioner TEJWINDER SINGH 2024.02.16 10:58 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
2024:PHHC:021491 -2CRM-M-8087-2024 shall be at liberty to seek revival of the present petition by way of filing an application with advance notice to the State. As and when the other application is listed on account of default, the SSP concerned shall remain present in the Court to explain the delay. 5.
