**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) Counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner is entitled for interest on the delayed release of his retiral benefits. He further states that the petitioner has been retired w.e.f. 31.07.2012 on attaining the age of 58 years, whereas he was entitled for continuance of service till the age of 60 years, therefore, he is entitled for salary for a period of two years. Counsel for the petitioner further states that for the relief which has been sought in the present writ petition, the petitioner has served the respondents with a legal notice on 01.06.2018 (Annexure P-15) as well as representation dated 30.06.2018 (Annexure P-19), which are still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a time bound direction is issued to the respondents to decide the said legal notice and representation. CWP-4018-2019 -2In view of the request made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case and the claim being made by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to decide the legal notice dated 01.06.2018 (Annexure P-15) as well as representation dated 30.06.2018 (Annexure P-19) by passing a speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. Present writ petition stands disposed of.
