Present petition has been filed praying for issuance of a directions to the respondents to conclude the investigation of the case and submit the final report in case FIR No.0170, dated 03.09.2024, under Sections 419, 420, 120-B IPC, registered at Police Station City Rajpura, District Patiala, as since passing more than four months the police has not taken any action nor they completed/carried out the necessary investigation in the matter till date.

On the asking of the Court, Mr.Tarun Aggarwal, Sr.DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State and submits, on instructions from ASI Gurmeet Singh, that investigation is already going on. He submits that the FIR pertains to Cyber offence and the investigation in the same would be concluded very soon.

After hearing learned counsel for the parties and going through the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Investigating Agency to conclude the investigation expeditiously in accordance with law preferably within three months from today.
