( Through Video Conferencing ) **** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) Present writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioners as Staff Nurses in view of the policy instructions dated 18.03.2011 (Annexure P-3) issued by the State of Punjab.

Learned counsel for the petitioners argues that the petitioners are entitled for the regularization of their services as Staff Nurses in view of the policy instructions dated 18.03.2011 (P-3) issued by the Government of Punjab coupled with the decisions rendered by this Court in CWP-11427-2015 titled as 'Sukhjad Singh and others Vs. State of

-2Punjab and another', decided on 19.12.2018 (Annexure P-7) and in CWP-18379-2019 titled as 'Sukhwinder Kaur and others Vs. State of Punjab and another', decided on 01.10.2020 (Annexure P-11). Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are entitled for the regularization of their services keeping in view the settled instructions by the Government of Punjab as they qualifies all the conditions enumerated in the policy dated 18.03.2011 (P3) and the similarly situated employees have already been granted the benefit of the same, therefore, the petitioners be also granted the benefit of regularization of their services in pursuance to the said policy.

Learned counsel for the petitioners further submits that for the relief, which is being claimed in the present writ petition, petitioners have served the respondents with a legal notice dated 26.09.2020 (Annexure P-8), which is still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioners will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a time bound direction is issued to respondent No.2 to decide the said legal notice. Notice of motion.

Ms. Sunint Kaur, AAG, Punjab, who has joined the proceedings through video conference, keeping in view the service of advance copy of petition, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State and raises no objection with regard to prayer of the petitioners for deciding the legal notice dated 26.09.2020 (Annexure P-8) by respondent No.2 in a time bound manner by passing an appropriate speaking order. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case or the claim being made by the petitioners, respondent

-3No.2 is directed to decide the legal notice dated 26.09.2020 (P-8) by passing a speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.

Present writ petition stands disposed of.
