(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for issuance of direction to respondents No.1 to 5 to hand over the investigation of FIR No.0531 dated 24.08.2017, under Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959, sections 148, 149, 307, 323, 427 and 506 IPC, registered at Police Station Assandh, District Karnal (P-1) and cross case under Sections 148, 149, 323, 324, 325, 427, 435 and 506 IPC (P-2) to some independent agency like crime branch or some superior officer not below the rank of Inspector of Police. And further to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the purpose would be achieved if respondent No.3-Inspector General of Police, Karnal Range, Karnal, is directed to look into the matter.
