#  etitioner has filed this petition under Section 439 of Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail in case FIR No. 159 dated 17.04.2020 registered under Sections 323, 325, 307, 201, 506 and 34 IPC, at Police Station Saran, District Faridabad.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case as he has nothing to do with the alleged occurrence; that though the petitioner was named in the FIR, yet no specific role has been attributed to the petitioner, even injured-Lalit in his statement recorded on 18.05.2020 under Section 161 Cr.P.C. has not attributed any specific role to the petitioner; that the petitioner has been in MANGAL SINGH 2022.03.22 19:12 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document





 
 custody since 14.04.2021 and that the present FIR is counter-blast to the FIR No. 157 dated 17.04.2020, registered under Sections 304, 323 and 34 IPC, at Police Station Saran, District Faridabad, wherein the mother of the present petitioner had died.

The petitioner has been in custody since 14.04.2021. No specific role has been attributed to the petitioner. The prosecution witnesses are yet to be examined. Therefore, the conclusion of the trial would take time. Hence, no useful purpose would be served by keeping the petitioner behind the bars.
