The instant petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus, directing respondents No.2 to 6 to ensure protection of life and liberty of petitioner and her family members at the hands of respondents No.7 to 11 and to take action on the complaint dated 03.12.2021 (Annexure P-1) and complaint dated 05.01.2022 (Annexure P-2) given by her against respondents No.7 to 11.

It is contended that the petitioner made a complaint dated 03.12.2021 (Annexure P-1) as well as a complaint dated 05.01.2022 (Annexure P-2) against respondents No.7 to 11 alleging therein that the aforesaid persons harassed her on account of demand of dowry and gave her severe beatings, however, till date no action has been taken by the official respondents on such complaints.

In view of the above, I dispose of the instant petition by directing the official respondents to take action on the complaint Annexure P-1 as well as the complaint Annexure P-2 of the petitioner within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, in accordance with law and provide protection to her, if the need so arise.
