*** HARPREET SINGH BRAR, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.193 dated 10.09.2017 registered under Section 61 of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914 at Police Station Kotwali, Patiala.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lavesh v State (NCT of Delhi), (2012) 8 SCC 730, he wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to challenge the order dated 24.11.2023 (Annexure P-4) whereby the petitioner has been declared as proclaimed person.
