**** SANJAY VASHISTH , J. (Oral) Order dated 10.02.2023 says as under:
"By way of filing this petition, petitioners seek necessary protection of their lives and personal liberty in view of the fact that they have not solemnized their marriage so far and are living in a live-in relationship and are under eminent threat at the hands of respondents No.4 to 9. Petitioner No.1 - Kusum is aged about 18 years, whereas, petitioner No. 2 - Manjit is aged about 20 years and he has not attained marriageable age.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that respondents No. 4 to 9 want to marry petitioner No. 1-Kusum with somebody else, against her wishes.
In the context of threat perception at the hands of private respondents No. 4 to 9, petitioners have allegedly moved representation dated 03.02.2023, (Annexure P-3) to Superintendent of Police, District Hisar (respondent No. 2), wherein, all the apprehension to their lives has been expressed.
Notice of motion.
On asking of the Court, Mr. Vikas Bhardwaj, AAG, Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 3. Copy of complete paper book be supplied to him during the course of the day.
Adjourned to 29.03.2023.
Meanwhile, respondent No. 2 - Superintendent of Police, District Hisar, is hereby directed to look into the representation dated 03.02.2023, (Annexure P-3) and in case, any truth is found in regard tothe apprehension of lives and liberty of the petitioners, appropriate steps in accordance with law would be taken.
Reply/status report be filed on or before the next date of hearing i.e. 29.03.2023."

2023:PHHC:046769 CRWP-1298-2023 - 2 - While referring to the status report filed by the State, counsel for the petitioners submits that both the petitioners have already been recorded by the police, wherein they have expressed no danger to their lives. Thus, in view of the statements of the petitioners in front of the police, counsel for the petitioners does not press the present petition. Dismissed, as not being pressed.
