**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J.(Oral) The petitioner has preferred this writ petition for the issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No.2 to consider the application of the petitioner for grant of arms licence.

On 11.02.2020, learned State counsel sought time to have further instructions.

Today, learned State counsel has produced a copy of order dated 21.08.2020 passed by the District Magistrate, Panipat rejecting the application of the petitioner for grant of arms licence. A copy of said order has been handed over to learned counsel for the petitioner.
