AUGUSTINE GEORGE MASIH, J. (ORAL) Petitioners have approached this Court with a grievance that the feasibility of development scheme area 15.68 acres named as "South Avenue" has not been decided till date despite the matter being pending with the respondents since the year 2014. The details with regard to the processing of the case have been given in the writ petition. The personal hearing was also given to the petitioners on 31.08.2020 by the Special Chief Secretary but when nothing came out of the same, petitioners submitted a detailed representation dated 12.10.2020 (Annexure P-13).

Despite the above steps having been taken and the case being at the final stage no decision as yet has been taken by the Financial Commissioner, Department of Revenue, Rehabilitation and Disaster Management-cumChairman State Level Land Acquisition Board, Punjab - respondent No.1. Counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners at this stage would be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.1 to consider RAVINDER SINGH 2021.02.

-2CWP-4591 of 2021 and finalise the claim with regard to the aspects of the feasibility of development scheme area 15.68 acres named as "South Avenue" within some specified time keeping in light the representation dated 12.10.2020 (Annexure P-13).

Notice of motion.

Mr. Pardeep Singh Bajwa, Additional Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and states that the claim of the petitioners would be considered and decided by the competent authority.

Without going into the merits of the case or commenting thereon the present petition is disposed of with directions to the Financial Commissioner, Department of Revenue, Rahabilitation and Disaster Management-cum-Chairman State Level Land Acquisition Board, Punjab - respondent No.1 to consider and finalise feasibility of the development scheme area 15.68 acres named as "South Avenue" as also representation dated 12.10.2020 (Annexure P-13) within a period of two months from today.
