CRM-49352-2025 This is an application under Section 528 r/w 435 BNSS for abatement of appeal.

This Court vide order dated 22.12.2025 had directed the State to verify the factum of death of appellant.

State counsel submits that they have verified the fact and has handed over death certificate of appellant-deceased Maha Singh which is taken on record. Given above, the application is allowed and the main appeal is taken on Board.

Seeking setting aside of impugned judgment and order of sentence dated 18.11.2016 passed by Judge, Special Court, Karnal, the appellant had come up before this Court by filing the present appeal.
