MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (ORAL) Petitioner is seeking issuance of directions to official respondents to consider the complaints (Annexure P-1 and P-2) filed by the petitioner against respondents No.5 to 8 and to immediately take action against the said respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even though two complaints were made by the petitioner against the private respondents vide Annexures P-1 and P-2 to respondent No.4Station House Officer, Police Station Basti Jodhewal, Ludhiana, however the official respondents had failed to initiate any action against the private respondents and had instead been sitting over the matter. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana-respondent No.2 was directed to look into his complaint and take appropriate steps in accordance with law against the private respondents. 3.
I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the relevant material on record.

A perusal of complaints (Annexures P-1 and P-2) reveal that they have not been sent to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana, but have been sent to respondent No.4Station House Officer, Police Station Basti Jodhewal, Ludhiana. This Court would refrain from issuing any such directions as prayed for to the Station House Officer.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would move an appropriate application with respect to his grievance to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana, and the said authority be directed to look into his application/complaint as and when it is made and take appropriate steps against the private respondents.

In the circumstances, as and when any application/complaint is made to by the petitioner to respondent No.3Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana, the latter would look into the same and take appropriate steps, if any required, in accordance with law.
