The instant petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.97 dated 29.07.2017 registered under Section 376 IPC at Police Station Sadar Bathinda, District Bathinda.

By an order dated 27.02.2020, this Court had granted interim bail to the petitioner with a direction to join proceedings before the trial Court.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-State on instructions from Investigating Officer submits that the petitioner has joined the proceedings before the trial Court and has been admitted to bail. 4.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 5.

In view of the fact that the petitioner has joined investigation, the instant petition is allowed and the order dated 27.02.2020 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
