Ram Lal Bhatt v. State Of Haryana And ORS.
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH Sr. No.548 CWP-11926-1999 (O&M) Date of decision: May 17, 2022 Ram Lal Bhatt
...Petitioner
Versus
State of Haryana and Others
...Respondents
CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ARUN MONGA
Present:
None for the petitioner.
Mr. R.D. Sharma, Deputy Advocate General, Haryana. ***** ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petition was filed in the year 1999, inter alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing order dated 19.06.1999 (Annexure P-2), whereby claim of the petitioner to join back in service after 12 years on account of nonacceptance of his resignation was rejected. 2.
Petition was admitted on 19.07.2001.
3.
When called out for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. It seems that by sheer effluxion of time and pendency of the writ petition for more than 22 years before this Court, it has been rendered infructuous and/or the petitioner seems to have lost interest in pursuing the same. 4.
Learned State counsel has produced on record a copy of letter dated 22.03.2000 in vernacular language and the same is taken on record and marked as 'A'.
5.
I have gone through the letter produced by the learned State Counsel which reveals that the petitioner was allowed to join back in service and it was also directed that a charge-sheet be issued to him after his re-joining service. 6.
In the premise, petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
