(Oral) The present petition has been filed for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondents No. 4 and 5, who happens to be the son and daughter-in-law of petitioners No. 2 and 3. Learned counsel submits that petitioner No.2 had disinhereted respondents No. 4 and 5 from all his moveable and immovable property in the year 2014 vide Annexure P2 and it is precisely for this reason that the private respondents are continuously harassing and threatening the petitioners with dire consequences. Learned counsel further submits that despite having repeatedly approached the concerned authorities qua the threat perception at the hands of the private respondents, no action has been taken so far.
