Learned counsel for the respondents states that Section 66 (3) (l) of the Motor Vehicles Act has, in any event, now been amended w.e.f. 27.09.2001. He further states that the petition is, therefore, now infructuous. The petition is, therefore, dismissed as infructuous. Needless to add that if anything survives, the petitioner is at liberty to apply to have the petition revived.
