(Oral) Pursuant to order dated 14.02.2020, short reply by way of affidavit of Sub-Inspector Jabarjit Singh, SHO, Police Station Tibber, on behalf of respondents No.1 & 2, has been filed in Court today. The same is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. Office to tag the same at the appropriate place. A copy thereof has been handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

As per the aforesaid affidavit, a report has been obtained from ASI Salinder Singh of Police Station Tibber, according to which, the wife of the petitioner is indeed pregnant and she is due for delivery on 07.04.2020. In view of the above, no ground for extension of parole is made out, at this stage.

Faced with this situation, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he may be allowed to withdraw the instant petition. Dismissed as withdrawn.
