(Oral) Prayer in the present petition is for modification of order dated 26.09.2019 (Annexure P/2) passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Jalandhar, whereby in an application filed by the petitioners under Section 12 of the Domestic Violence Act, 2005, the petitioners were granted interim maintenance of Rs.15,000/- per month.

By way of the present petition, the petitioners (i.e. wife and her minor child) had sought enhancement of the above said interim compensation. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners prays that the present petition be disposed of as having been rendered infructuous as the main application (i.e.COMA.131.2016) filed by the petitioners under Section 12 (1) of the protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, has been dismissed vide order dated 02.01.2024 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Jalandhar.

In view of the position noted above as well as the statement of learned counsel for the petitioners, the present petition is disposed as having been rendered infrcutuous.
