(ORAL) Petition herein is, inter alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing respondent No.1 to decide Appeal No.13 of 2023 titled as "Khurshid Ahmed, Zila Parishad Vs. Director General Development and Panchayat Department, Haryana, Chandigarh" in a time bound manner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Appeal No.13 of 2023 is pending consideration before respondent No.1 since long, however, no decision is forthcoming thereupon. 3.

Notice of motion.

Learned counsel for the petitioner does not have any objection to the aforesaid course of action. However, he submits that respondent No.1/competent authority be directed to decide Appeal No.13 of 2023 within a time bound manner.

Without commenting on the merits of the case and considering the relief sought for herein, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1/competent authority to decide Appeal No.13 of 2023 and pass an appropriate order, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy/production of this order. 7.
